taking one of the cheapest car around now


approx TOTAL cost = installment $400 + $100 insurance + $50 roadtax + parking home $65, parking outside $100 + ERP $50 + petrol $300 + maintainence $30

=$1095!

and from a Finance planning article i read in the papers, FIXED liabilities shouldnt exceed 20% of your takehome pay(approx)

BUT in the end, it depends on how you weigh the pros and cons of having a car and the purpose of having one too.
