my family went dinner with grandpa and aunt's family at one of the coffeeshop for "zhi cha"
they ordered pepper crab woh .. but to me it wasnt "pepperish" enough... i had better ones.. but thats another story
but nonetheless the other dishes were alright..
interestin combi of ingredients..
oh there's steam fish .. hmm 2 vege dishes, 2 meat dishes and some misc i cant remember ..
had fun talkin with my aunt's family
grandpa was keepin quiet most of the time but can see he's feelin glad abt this family dinner..
suppose to have 2 tables but some cannot make it so it became A table instead..
dear came along with me for dinner and aunt was teasin him abt bein in the company of 4 ladies LOL
my dad excluded cause most of the time he kept quiet..
aunt was sayin we always talked abt feminine topics ( which i do not understand wat she meant)and asked him if he felt left out?
mum just joked and answered for him
" his luck to get a gf who's in an all gals' family"
LOL
dear just laughed it off..

mum then teased back and said "wait till your sons bring their gfs back then u know wats the feelin like "
LOL

glad mum is open abt it
she will always say have bf must bring back home.. even guy friends deemed bf material cause she wans to know wats our choices like and will give us suggestions .. and advices
NOT DETERMININ bf for us BUT just worried the guys are not good enough etc etc LOL
mum's bein practical i tink
glad she can accept it .. well well ..
i brought my first bf home when i was 20 .. LOL so mum was alright with it ..

i brought back dear dear to introduce mum to him even before we got together ..
as a friend for mum to know ..
then subsequently when we got together i intro dear dear as my bf.. mum wun be too shocked abt it hahah cause by then she would have gotten the idea..
i dun like to hide my bf ..
its somethin to be proud of ..
and its a morale boost for him .. to know he's bein acknowledged by my family ..
it took some time before my family ACCEPTED him though.. hahah maybe i got together quite fast after my breakup with my ex.. family was sceptical ..worried tat he's a stand in ..
which i never once regard him as..
they are INCOMPARABLE..
they are two totally different individuals with vastly different characters..

but anyway ..
after dinner aunt's family brought grandpa back home and we went back for a little drinkin session
