and this time it is Sushi-making!
dear bought a sushi receipe book last week and decided to try out.


Morning went over to Parkway Parade to look for dear and do some marketing at the supermarket and we bought the ingredients for sushi-making. It sounds weird but we love doing marketing and grocery shopping at supermarkets.. lol i feel closer to him too.
And after 3 hrs of preparation, we came out with this!

Thanks to dear, the day was so enjoyable.
something interesting, something engaging and something to fill our stomach lol
oh its enough for his whole family too


And this is our second attempt at sushi-making and its a big improvement :) as commented by his family heh
Hopefully on to more sessions in the future.

Stuffed Squid

Sushi vinegar with some seasonings to season the rice and to make the rice look more "glistening" and also "dispersed" so to see each grain and to make the rice sticky for kneading later.

The prawn had been skewered before boiling to prevent from curling up and then soaked in iced water to retain the texture.
