a contradiction
to counter the increase of GST there's the workfare bonus which is to benefit the lower income group who might need more cash on hand
and this is the proposed allocation of workfare bonus
NTUC suggests 40% of Workfare benefits go into savings scheme
which to me makes no sense at all
ppl are already short of cash
they need more CASH ON HAND instead
not into some savings acct
OR ELSE at least dun put such big percentage in .. in the end they are only getting THAT BIT
and medisave is just like CPF
being circulated and invested for the "sake of the economy"

eg
u wan cash or vouchers?
of course cash right?
cause u have a CHOICE on how to use it
if they wan to save it
they can SAVE IT
