The Common Mole: Beauty Mark or Divination Tool

There are many varied methods of divination but one very obvious tool is often overlooked. Certain aspects of the human body can be interpreted to provide insight into one's fate. For example, physiognomy is the science of reading a person's character from their facial and body form. A more common form of divination is palmistry in which the lines and shapes of the hand and fingers are used to determine the individual's path.

Many omens and superstitions have been derived by such things as a child being born with teeth or certain types of birthmarks such as the strawberry mark. It is a common belief that a baby born with a caul is destined for a very fortunate life.

Most of us would not give much thought to the lowly mole yet some believe strongly in their divinatory meaning. Moles are usually read by their size, shape, color and the part of the body on which they appear.

Following is a brief list of the meaning of moles as located on certain areas of the body.

A mole on the nose is said to be quite fortunate. A mole appearing on the neck indicates that one's career will progress slowly but an eminent position will be attained by persistence. A lazy, selfish, greedy and untidy disposition is said to accompany the person who has a mole on the abdomen. If a mole appears in the center of the breast, one will have simple comforts but will never acquire wealth. A mole on the ankle indicates refinement, energy, ability and bravery. This is the mark of a hard-working, independent individual. An open and generous nature is indicated by a mole on the back. A mole on the right arms means a successful life while a mole on the left arm means anxiety over financial matters. A mole on the back of one or both hands is an indication that the person is endowed with great natural talent. A mole on the right cheek signifies a happy marriage, wealth and good fortune but a mole on the left cheek brings many difficulties. Those with a mole on the chin will be fortunate in all endeavors without expending much effort on their part. The person with a mole on the hip will have many strong and healthy children. A mole on the ear indicates a reckless disposition. Located on the jaw, a mole portends ill health and weakness. If a person has a mole near the outer corner of either eye they will have a frugal nature. A happy marriage is in store for those with a mole on the knee. A mole on the foot shows a love of traveling and quick intellect. On the forehead, a mole denotes great mental ability, fame and fortune. A mole on the leg indicates a careless nature. Those with a mole on the lip are said to be sensual flirts and ardent lovers. A mole on either shoulder denotes a life of hard work. The person with a mole on either wrist will have an interesting and successful career. A mole on the right thigh indicates prosperity and a happy marriage whereas a mole on the left thigh warns of money loss, injustice and lonliness.

So it may be worth taking a second look at those moles (or beauty marks, as my mother called them) to see whether your life has followed the path assigned by nature's divination tools. It might be interesting to see what you find!

still feelin emo .. was listenin to U2 WIth or WIthout U.. kinda stuck in my head now ..

hmm.. was talkin to friend then i forgot wat i said to friend.. maybe too tired or sleepy
then next morn cant rememeber wat i said ..

i think most ppl will kinda sieve thru brain the words or meanin they wan to bring out or across to ppl .. presentin the best but not always the truthful side
its to prevent unwanted disputes, confusions, uneasiness etc..
i admit do tat sometimes but i hope i dun have to most times.. its feels kinda unnatural .. like wearin a mask and talkin to ppl .
but life's like tat ..

we cant always put our feelings first..for me i will try to consider the other party first before i open my mouth to say somethin ... to me when i look at ppl i will see the other party's good pts and i will comment or compliment abt it .. nothing's wrong with complimentin wat i tink is good .. although i tink most ppl dun do tat.. shy maybe..
i hoped my perception of things is acceptable or i hope i am doin the right thing.. no offences to anyone made
i always believe its better to gain more alliances than make new enemies...

i gained a few friends in tat way .. not complimentin but initiatin to say somethin .. eg
i gained a music lover friend cause i heard him talkin to another guy abt x japan and then feelin thick-skinned i went over to talked to them .. askin them if they like X japan and stuff wahahahah
then yar the rest is history .. he's real good with the guitar
he still rememebered the "formal" and first sentence i said to him in camp
"your hair is so long why not tie it ?"
and he did the next day :P

well .. to me ... by sayin out i can make the person feel better abt ownself and to bring out the best in tat person.. how to improve etc .. everyone needs some encouragement along the way .. and some compliments will definitely makes the person feel better abt themselves and i meant wat i say ..
my friend asked," why u never say any bad things abt me before?"
i see no pt to.. well .. maybe to me its nothin really drastic why should i go and tell u wat to do or change.. its not u anymore ..
unless ppl ask me wats their bad pts
i shall put my words thru

i tink most ppl will see the bad pts first then pt out to them and suggest how to improve it ..hmm
maybe i'm kinda extra..

well ..somethin i learned from my ex..
he's quite a verbal person .. although there's quite alot of friction btw us now
i still rememebered his good pts ..
givin me the encouragement when i need it .. reassurin me .. accompanyin me thru my rough patch etc..

maybe cause last time durin jc time my self esteem very low... esp with my grades and looks so i always appreciate abit of "boostin" now and then ahahahhaah

..now my mind's a blank
shall continue .. soon ..

oh and a colleague was commentin abt lookin very ugly durin sec sch
its "nu da shi ba bian ma" ^^
its always interestin to look back and see how u look like now and then ..

for now i tink i need to improve on my words and how i present to ppl
