so freakin tired and sleepy right now .. and its only afternoon..
guess the show i watched yesterday made it's presence felt THROUGHOUT my whole sleep...
kept havin flashbacks of those gore scenes...without wantin to..
oh yar i watched Hills have Eyes yesterday..

NO MORE GORY shows..argh.. war gore i can stomach it .. this kind is .....

i guess i am too impressionable...or else my memory too "photogenic"wahahahah
can rememeber graphics TOO well..for my own good ..

i admit i get scared easily
since young dun really have the guts to watch such shows.. even if i listen to stories only i tend to think too much ..

eg camp stories always make me wide awake hahah dun dare to go near those places involved or i will chat with friends to keep me awake .. to prevent myself from thinkin too much ..
durin camps i can survive on few hrs of sleep each day then after camp will be dead..wahahhahah

anyway ... i dun like dear to ask me watch such shows.. he always want to scare me .. argh .. i wun pay money to scare myself .. dear not scared of such shows.. BUT i am
he just like me to get scared and cling onto him ..
which i practically did throughout the show...grabbin his arm refusin to let go..

i dun like those jap and korean horror too..

but then on sat we watched cause its the earliest available time slot before he book in .. so i gave in and watched with him ..

on fri went out with my best rocker friend heheh since jc days
went esplanade to watch her friends' performance..
although i am not much of a jazz person .. nonetheless still enjoyed the performance..
the guys were young BUT they were good ~
the guy's voice was bright and able to hit the notes.. the saxaphonist was good and gave a rendition of one of kenny G's songs
the sittin area was fully occupied durin their hr long showcase ..
durin the interval we went to fill out stomach ...BUT we can only find 1 halal restaurant so we went to try it ..
in my opionion ..not worth it .. although the ambience made up for it ..
the food's too little and costly .. the taste was alright ..







after the performance .. jun felt like eatin MRS FIELDS
so we bought some to try and set at the "concourse" area within the esplanade to savour and chat .. its time for some catchin up ^^

and we took lots of pics too .. i shant post them ALL lol cause too many ..shall post those which we look better hahahha





and we had CHOCZS too ^^

on sat went out with mum and sis for lunch at crystal jade

..my whole family loves spicy food so ..yar .. all the spicy mian ahhahaha

of course feel happy for them ..
they have big dreams .. but for a rock band to survive or even be recognise takes lots of preservance and determination ..
they almost broke ..dream shatterin by bits with each passin yr . BUT now they have a revival chance

AND now he has a really great gf by his side .. who supports him in watever he does .. oblivious to wat others might say of him and his music ..

survived my first run in ...two years wahhahahaha..
jogged for 20 min .. not too bad considerin last time when i jog around my neighbourhood i usually stop at half the distance

No more NS deferment for pre-enlistees to pursue university studies

Mindef is going back to the basics in its policy of allowing deferments from National Service for school leavers. Starting December last year, no more deferments are allowed for those who want to pursue a university degree, be it local or overseas.

Those pursuing basic qualifications like 'A' levels, polytechnic diploma or below, are still allowed to apply for deferment under certain criteria. Male Singaporeans begin their National Service at the earliest opportunity once they turn 18 years old.

But Mindef has been granting deferments to certain categories, like those starting full-time study before 18 years old in the case of local courses and before 17-1/2 years old for overseas courses. Deferment has also been granted for those pursuing 'A' level and polytechnic diploma courses if a person is able to start the course before he turns 19 as at January 1 of the year the course commences.

But now Mindef has decided to rationalise its deferment policy based on operational needs and the primary goal of National Service.
