it sounds good BUT i wonder if the letters will ever reach their parents
the youngsters can just "waylay" the letters BEFORE it ever get to their parents..

they are askin for too much that they can hold responsible to...

ooh yesterday we went to THE SHIP RESTAURANT for dinner
i had COGNAC steak which is real good ! although the wine quite faint ..
dear had half lobster .. with ribeye ..
nice~
environment's nice and cozy too .. cause not too many ppl around.. instead our table of 5 seems the "loudest"
ate baked oysters too ! with spinach and beacon ~ really crunchy and interestin .. ooh
i love oysters~ give me raw or cooked anytime wahahahah
i hate cockles though ..cant stand the taste ..
weirdly enough

my chinese all return to teacher already .. been YEARS since i read chinese ..
woh never know my group of colleagues have so many hidden talents hahah
HS and cecilia can really sing welll..
MH sounds so cute

for me ..ehm... i'm a listener -_-"
i cant really reach alot of high notes so i tink better not for me to sing ..
wahahah oh well .. anyway its really fun
first time went out with so many colleagues at once ..
then after KBOX with out with my galfriend
went SAKAE at heeren .. gosh ! so many ppl
then saw shuyan there too ...
we waited more than half an hr for a seat .. and there's only 2 of US!!
so difficult meh?
anyway dinner was great ! hahah
kept takin from the belt and i ordered from the menu ..
my friend's bd was on first feb so treat her to belated bd dinner ~ hope she likes it
then i took the bill to the counter.. then cashier realise we never ask the ppl to count our plates!! lol
so watever we say they have to believe .. we said 7 plates ..which i tink we are TOO HONEST...LOL
next time must remember to ask them count plates first before we leave ..
then went PARAGON for coffee
sharon had fruit tea instead .. me?
give me my caffeine boost anytime

we had cheesecakie too .. sharon loves it .. so glad

ooh before i forgot

last night dear night's out again !!
lol
he accompanied to meet the independent advisor to talk abt my financial plans ..
yar i'm bein "kiasu" now
cause i wanna make sure i can stand on my own next time if anythin happens and also its better suffer now then later can taste my fruits of labour..
and to take a regular savings plan means u are FORCIBLY savin up for rainy days
cannot be like present times ..
feel like it put more if not put less.. then feel like it buy things on spur of monent ..
which i do quite often lol
insurance plans also impt but i dun wanna spent too much money on it cause .. its for a peace of mind ..
i know
things can get unpredictable
BUT i tink for now its better to have some cash fluidity ..
then next time more stable then buy a bigger one lol
and insurance plan cannot pay halfway then break bond.. u will LOSE OUT ALOT
"KIASI" mentality lol must buy for health and hospitalisation and wat ehmm.. "Critical illness plan"
dun wanna be a burden IF anythin happen
buy sufficient is enough
i'm more interested in the UNIT TRUST ..
makin my CPF money "grow" lol but its confirmed to be in red for the first few years
hmm..
so many things to consider, so many decisions ..
things to plan for :
my degree
my savings
my insurance coverage
expenditure for myself and family ( its only right to contribute to family's )
my wedding LOL
i wouldnt my dear to be the sole provider cause its a UNION of both
unless his pay next time will be like 10K or somethin then i can work for leisure LOL
and my very own home..
and i am not interested in cars .. seriously .. never had a car and had never date a guy who can drive anyway :X ..and dun think will .. rather be house proud lol
well unless HE has other plans abt cars so ..... haha
well since dear's in camp
i have lots of time to think and plan
i think i am not content being a "gal who hangs onto her guy" only lol
i wanna be the "behind every man is a successful woman " :P
oh well its seems to be a whole lot of crappin but i WILL Achieve my aims..
maybe not in immediate future but will certainly try to make it happen ..
and finally
dear's time with me was short BUT sweet ..
love him to bits
i talked to him abt some issues and its settled somehow
haha
dear's gonna finish his course soon ..
then he can have more time to contribute to US ..
feelin tired of being the "more active" one in this ..
as always said before

this mornin i was readin the papers when a segment caught my eye ... well.. to say caught is an understated ..
a small segment GRABBED my attention ..
i tink most of us would have known by now there's a sex video being circulated around forums both local and foreign....

Eugenie Scott, director of the National Center for Science Education, which campaigns to keep the teaching of evolution in public schools, said those in mainstream religious communities needed to "step up to the plate" in order to prevent the issue being viewed as a battle between science and religion.
Parents in Dover, Pennsylvania, won a court battle over evolution Some have already heeded the warning.
"The intelligent design movement belittles religion. It makes God a designer - an engineer," said George Coyne, director of the Vatican Observatory.
"Intelligent design concentrates on a designer who they do not really identify - but who's kidding whom?"
Last year, a federal judge ruled in favour of 11 parents in Dover, Pennsylvania, who argued that Darwinian evolution must be taught as fact.
Dover school administrators had pushed for intelligent design to be inserted into science teaching. But the judge ruled this violated the constitution, which sets out a clear separation between religion and state.
Despite the ruling, more challenges are on the way.
Fourteen US states are considering bills that scientists say would restrict the teaching of evolution.
These include a legislative bill in Missouri which seeks to ensure that only science which can be proven by experiment is taught in schools.

its a great show tat's realistic and in tune with the army world of today ... plus lots of politics
it showed trainings and everyday life of marin corp of US..
it showed how the ppl cope with the trainin and their relationship..
esp the part when they had to go IRAQI for the GULF war...
there's a wall of shame .. photos of wifes or gfs who strayed ...
the guys need lots of emotional support while out there alone in the vast desert ..
after the show we went JOAQUIM for steamboat!

today went clementi to get some of my fishy stuff..
was thinkin wat to get then sifted thru the shops and got wat i wan ...
two bottles costed 26! my gosh! it is an ex hobby
i'm still blur abt some things so gonna wait until dear is back ...
today is the second day of his field camp in tekong..
he said he will be back by tml evenin .. so i wait ..
sharon asked me out tml for an outin with lip seng.. will be joinin them since its been such a long time since i seen both of them ..

got to know some of my med status
in conclusion my scale at home is not accurate LOL
cause i weighed 52.5 while at home i weighed 51...damn.. i cant seem to hit the 50 mark
but then my BMI is good ~ lol 19.5
ehm.. cholestrol and blood pressure still alright just tat my body fat analysis is 27.5% .. haiz.. seems quite high too
but wat i worry most is my waist hip ratio LOL
LOL the nurse suggested to do crunches.. -_-"
i did b4 ... with instructions given by lionel .. but stopped for quite some time
so have to do again now .. haiz ...

night's out again
dear nights out again on mon!
met him at JP then we bought more distilled water for my tank
dear went back home with me hee so glad
he helped me settle some of the tank stuff then spent most of the time restin .. poor dear..gettin alot of bruises and sprains..
he had to leave at 1030... cause need to book in around 1130 .. feel so reluctant to let him go .. so sleepily i bade him goodbye at my door and went to the window to see him walk away to the main road ..

anyway its ok we celebrated V day earlier
had an enjoyable day

latest project
i have been sayin for ages i wanna make myself a nano marine tank
finally started yesterday .. sun mornin was out with dear and his dad at serangoon area and saw my fish tank
"CASH N CARRY" and its all mine..
a steal at 60 which include light, pump and filter
which after buyin i need to eat cup noodles for the rest of the week -_-"
brought it home and start to set up at night
ganbatte to myself ! i will make it a successful NANO TANK!
its a CUBE TANK
doesnt it look nice ?
now sittin on my study desk
i'll be addin in the branch rockes soon to "circulate" and "cultivate" bacteria ~
and i'll be kept occupied hahaha
so damn bored after work ..
now i have a new love interest yea~

sun was the last day of the lunar new year .. so it meant its a foodie day again ~ hee
in the afternoon we went with dear's family to SPRING COURT a chinese restaurant at Chinatown area to have lunch ..
the decor and ambience is great ! with chinese lanterns hangin from the ceiling and the wooden furniture's used gives it a "oriental" look
dear's mummy ordered "YU SHENG" and the "YAM BASKET" which have lots of significance
and dessert was "TANG YUAN" which stands for "tuan tuan yuan yuan" yea~
my third "LOU HEI" haha
hopefully it will give me all the luck i need for the year ahead
"Yam Basket" signifies prosperity too

one of the nicest i ever eaten
for "tuan yuan"
then later at night my own mummy also prepared a feast for the family ... i made cold soba noodles, mummy cooked mutton curry and there were salad and lots of meat too haha

another victory for myself haha

early V DAY
sat was a simple and sweet affair ..
sat went to wait for dear at the control station
there were a few gals there i tink confirm waitin for NS guys too haha
one gal esp caught my attention
wearin all white and in mini shorts... so sexy woh ..
i can never be like tat
petite and sexy .. i wore jeans and t shirt only lol sounds like plain jane right ..
then dear reached and we went home to let him rest ..
at night we went to the Jap restaurant i found online BUT IT WAS CLOSED ...ARGH ... sadly though
then in the end we went KUSHIN BO for dinner ..
alot of "ah bing ge" woh and their gfs too ..i guess must be like me lor cant celebrate on actual day and has to celebrate early ...wat sad life we have :X
oh well nvm at least i'm not alone and the dinner's nice ~
even had one of their special "grilled lobster" small one lar lol
next time if occassion calls for it i will wan to go back to the JAP RESTAURANT i found online .. read that it had good reviews ....
try somethin new mah .. more variety will be better lol
weirdly .. i am so bored with the canteen food in my sch tat i can eat the same stuff all the time.. just not bothered to think abt wat to eat .. my purpose of eatin is just to fill my stomach and tats it ..
the desserts at KUSHIN BO .. i dun like the mango puddin though.. sour and not fragrant enough...

met her at orchard as i wanted to fix my hp
the guy at the service centre was so nice and friendly and cute too
haha
i told him abt my hp prob he said he will see wat he can do and brought the hp into another room ..
he came out later said he will send for repair and asked me to come back the next day
i said OK
then i asked him if i can have a substitute hp he say he try to find then he brought my hp into the room again .. i sat there and waited .. for around 20min
THEN he came out with my HP ..
ITS FIXED on the spot !
haha no need to go back again ..
juanita came up to find me and we went LUCKY PLAZA for dinner at Pizza Hut...
i tink we becomin vain already ?
