More colours of the Schnauzer..

was looking up on how to groom the schnauzer and I found so many colour variations to it. One of my pasttimes during the weekend is to make snoopi sit on the chair while i trim his fur LOL
I cant stand the messy look -_- anyone know where I can go for proper dog grooming class?

Just this week, with classes on mon and tue, OT on wed and finished up the group assignment today and OT tml.

Even this sat is not spared with afternoon class from 230-530... most probably I should be going school earlier to do another essay on that day too..

"THE next six months will be especially tough for Singapore as there is worse to come in the global economy, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong told employers and unionists yesterday."

Elaborating later, Acting Manpower Minister Gan Kim Yong said that more PMETs are expected to be laid off compared to previous recessions because their ranks have swelled.

They formed 51 per cent of the resident workforce last year, up from 41 per cent a decade ago. At stake are the jobs of some 945,000 PMETs, with about 706,000 in services. "

Not that I am bragging, the test took me 10 min...I hope the second test will be like this test too..
Dear was at Ngee Ann studying so met him for dinner after my test at this sushi place that sells 99ct sushi!
We ordered a bowl of ramen and shared like 10 sets of sushi and then went back to my place.. dear wasnt feeling too well so it's nearer to get back to my place..
though.. he still can eat :P but its a good sign to have appetite.

After my class at night, called mum after her work to go for supper together at BuKit Timah Food Centre.
Had carrot cake and beef kway tiao lol.

Woke at 7am to and did my assignment before meeting dear at Clementi to have lunch together with his classmates too... at the 99ct sushi place again hahahah

After lunch, dear and I went Marina Square to catch Valkyrie . It's a very political show with lots of planning of operations.. if you do not follow attentively with the plot, you will be lost amidst it.

OH speaking of which, I watched the "Curious case of Benjamin Buttons"
Its really heartwarming and I especially love the portrayal of the lead character.. the story can be as ordinary as any others.. only the lead character is not ordinary..
simple words, simple dialogues but with feelings...
about self-discovery, coming to terms, and self sacrifize..

anyway.. after show at MS, we went back dear's place.
Later at night, we went KOVAN to have Fishhead steamboat! lol and then we tried Sotong JIgging.. well dear was doing the jigging.. I was just enjoying the cool seabreeze.. then we went over to Pasir Ris Farmway to look at people pondfishing..
Dear said he will bring me someday to catch some big fish lol.

Went East Coast food centre for supper, had their famous satay beehoon! minus the queue hahah and some bbq chicken wings then back to dear's place... so shiok lol to sleep with a full stomach

Woken up by dear at 9am.. then around 12pm, dear and his dad helped to move one of their spare tvs for my place.. cause ours spoilt already. Thanks alot to them.. no need to squeeze in mum's room for the only tv in the house -_-

Dear and his dad then left for home.

Afternoon, shaved Snoopi.. which took me around 1hr.. my boy's too hairy..and then had dinner with my family at the marketplace... now back home trying to type another assignment...




Soon... the assignments phrase will all be done then it will be exams again.

I want to learn dog grooming.
I want to go on a holiday!!

why?

must people sound so sacarstic? or is it me that gave them the wrong impression...
shucks.. now how to NOT sound like a snob when answering their questions?

on another hand.. sometimes I wonder if I am the "restricting factor" in this relationship.. the bf seems to have so many plans and ideas and what have you..
our priorities seems to be drifting further away as the time goes by...

As much as i know "times are bad" and the youngest feeling very "reluctant" to work, she still went for a temp job today, after being "retrenched" from her "3mth contract" job..better than to keep waiting for the "right" job to come along, its not a time to be choosy now..

As usual, mum had been nagging at her bumming at home for so long.. but at least, she did not ask for money from any of us since she left school.
That I am proud of.
I had been helping her with job search too.. asking her to concentrate on an aim to work hard for.

It's stil encouraging.

"Times are bad" had led me to re-evaluate my budget.. hopefully I can survive on 300/mth hahahha I try.

I will not let "Times are bad" put me down.

Trip to the salon

Last night with the youngest.. wanted to cut my hair.. like really short but the stylist advised me against cutting cause it aint suitable for me... even bangs also aint gonna look good due to the state my hair is in.
In the end, had a trim only... boring.
He mentioned something that really made me disappointed and sad.

I can foresee.. there goes my money..
Dunno how much I have to spend on all these "aesthetics"..
I know.. all for my own benefit...
now the problem is to find time to actually do it.

Personally.. i feel utterly.. shocked
i know there are lots of teen pregnacies.. but to have a barely having reached adolescence kid to be a father..
and both families are on welfare.. i am just speechless.
its responsible of them to have the kid, but its not child's play to rear a child..

I fear for their future.
And i feel disgusted that their families are trying to "cash their stories"

Rest of the sunday

Was spent facing the computer from 1 till 6 and I managed to come up with only a draft.. shucks..
The rest of the family had gone out leaving me and mum and snoopi at home.
In the evening, I went out with mum for dinner and we chatted quite abit and when we reached home, the youngest and dad had reached home. I was packing my things when SNoopi decided to come sniffing at my stuff.. and this is what I did.

Dear came to fetch me after my lessons and we went to the TIANFU Steamboat at Tanjong Katong for supper hahahha -_-
MALA and SATAY soup base ... lethal combination but we still love it.

Saturday 140209

Accompanied dear to school for his lessons in the morning and I brought along his laptop to do some work while waiting for him to finish class.
After his class, we went over to Parkway Parade Shopping centre for grocery shopping!
Dear has planned to make dinner for us for V day, away from the maddening crowd.
He has planned SHABU SHABU Hotpot woh.. with lots of meat..

Went back his place and rested awhile then dear prepared all the ingredients for dinner le~
Extremely satisfying~ steamboat the night before, Shabu Shabu for V day hahahah

Dear then accompanied me back to my place.

Oh my parents went 二人世界 on V day too hahaha
They went on a one day tour to Malaysia
now who say "老夫老妻" cannot be romantic? :P

Woke around 8am then went to the market near my place for lunch before dear took bus back home.. simple celebration amid our busy schedules make us appreciate each other more.

dear got me a POLAROID CAMERA!lol! I was wanting one some time back and he got it for me for V DAY.
Dear lost his wallet recently.. the Braun Buffel wallet which I had gotten him for christmas two years ago...so I got him another Braun Buffel for V day.
Hope he'lll be happier.

first of Rct

Went dentist in the afternoon and the whole procedure lasted around an hr. Took out the nerve and cleaned it up LOL sound gross I know. Final filling will be two weeks later, after that will have another crowning procedure and it will be all done. I really hope no more surgery zzz
Last yr wisdom teeth removal and this yr RCT cost me more than 2k already even with alittle help from medisave and claims it's still very heartpain. Well well .. For the sake of my dental health.

Are we outdated?

Woke around 7am again -_- cant seem to wake up later all the time.. anyway went breakfast with mum at the newly renovated jurong west market~ we had fish porridge~ smooth as always then did some marketing with her.. gosh..it's like a battle zone inside.. people squeezing all around me, LUCKILY I am tall enough to spot my mum among the crowd hahhaha

Went back home, trimmed snoopi boy then bathed him.. another battle zone.. I was all wet and soapy after him..
Dear arrived around 12pm just in time for lunch. Mum fried "nian gao" again.. significance of eating "nian gao" was to "nian nian" have something auspicious.

After lunch, dear brought me for an excursion. I couldnt help but to feel excited like a schoolgoing child again.. hmm wait I am. minus the child part hahah
We went all the way to Kranji to see the farms and fish ponds and reservoir and the beach.
My uncle used to bring my family to the explore those wetlands.. and its the first time in years that I see mangrove swamps again.
It was all fun again like geography class.. we saw a few families there too.. it's so much better than letting the kids sit in front of com the whole day..

We then headed for another prawning trip after that.
Not too bad woh.. well at least to us.. 13 catches for 2 hrs ..I caught maybe less than half.. dear kept saying its the technique.. haiz.. must have more patience and practice.

We then headed back home to fetch family for the last of our "chinese new year celebration dinner" at DIAN XIAO ER.

And it was all photos after that.

Dear came back with us for a little gambling of poker and headed home after that.
I lost $2bucks and the xiao mei won $16 bucks with 50cent bets..

And now its back to preparing the assignments.. and V DAY~@
I am still at a loss for ideas..
