Fallout in Singapore
"SINGAPORE and the region will not escape the financial tsunami sweeping through Wall Street, according to local economists.
They told The Straits Times yesterday that the man on the street will feel the fallout from the credit crisis in the form of a tighter jobs market, sinking asset prices and shrinking corporate bottom lines."
some advice
Will my money be safe?
It doesnt help that I have a policy with AIG and I have unit trusts ..which translate into thousands at risk..
I cant help but feel so jittery... now can only seek advice from my financial advisor..
Luckily I still have cash savings in separate bank accounts BUT even banks are giving me the jitters.. cause MORE banks might be due for closure..
***********
on a happier note.. dear came over last night to accompany me and he is planning a bbq this sat and a cycling trip on sun... thanks dear for always trying to cheer me up and planning activities for us to do together.. though I seem distracted by this crisis..
After this week of "doing nothing", next week will start revision extensive, need to get my gear started up.
