Steamboat and Fishing

Met dear on Sat in Taka but ALAS! heavy downpour at my area then drizzling at orchard. But nonetheless, it did not dampen our mood cause after meeting up, we decided to have steamboat!
COCA Restaurant is a no frills yet healthy steamboat (and quiet) place to have your meal.. it feels so warm after that despite the rain outside, can try again.

After lunch, we rushed back to dear's place to prepare for our mini fishing getaway at East coast. We waited till the rain stopped then dear prepared the fishing setup and then we cycled to one of the jetty. Though i aint familiar with the different equipment or jargons of fishing, i did not forget how to cast and handle a fishing rod after almost a year LOL

Despite us not having any catch, the day was fun, we met new people and a family having a mini gathering at the jetty.

Today was spent resting at home then went to buy Snoopi's food, Tick control and toothpaste.. hmm spent $123 on him le.. mustnt spent too much during this GSS ><

East coast jetty

my puppy, at 6 mths. oh! and he knows a little how to "play dead" LOL

on a random workday
should i cut my fringe?
i became "comparatively" tan after my trip lol maybe it looks healthier this way..

*********

and i am "patiently" waiting for BONUS! although dont think this year will be any better..
and this piece of news makes me more "green-eyed"

"Civil servants' inflation bonus

SOME 60,000 civil servants in Singapore will get a half-month mid-year bonus in July and an inflation bonus of between $100 and $300.
Officers in the lower divisions - Division III and IV - will receive $250 and $300 respectively, while those in Division I and II will get $100.

The additional payment is in line with the National Wages Council's recommendation this month for a one-off special payment, with a larger amount going to low-wage workers, to help them cope with the rising cost of living.

NTUC deputy secretary-general Halimah Yacob hopes the private sector will make a similar one-off payment to lower-paid workers. "

people around me are striving for better positions, environment and paychecks..
what am i still doing?
dear advises me not to switch job while i am studying lest i get distracted while i try to get used to the new environment or be burdened by new jobscopes etc
BUT.. like this i will have no relevant work experience after i graduate.. maybe when i settled comfortably into work-study life first then decide again ..

anyway gotta enjoy one more month of "FREEDOM" before i officially start school at the end of jun.
