Woke at around 8am to help mum with preparations for grandma's death anniversary by cooking a few dishes for prayers and everything was done in superquick time LOL
We did 4 dishes in below 2 hours and by 11am, everything had been layed out.
Though i aint very superstitious but its always good to honour or remember your ancestors or your elderly whom had passed away. Its part of your cultural roots too.
I do not believe in being "modern" = doing away with traditions.
Traditions aint there to be your "stumbling blocks" to improverisation or modernisation of society.
Its SHOULD be part of OUR history.
Afternoon was idling around playing with my beads and this is the outcome of my fiddling.
with little spirals..
with movable butterflies
simple yet fruitful day LOL
at least that's what i feel.
******
I just remembered an incident whereby i was queueing for the bus with a colleague and she was about to board the bus.
She was just an arm's length away from the door when a guy, no, 2 guys rushed up and squeezed in front of her to get up the bus, almost knocking into her in the process.
Made me so irritated that i had to exclaimed loudly.
"these guys are so NOT gentlemanly to squeeze in front"
argh
What happened to the gentlemen nowadays? or are there NOT any now?
No, i am not being femininst again.
It's just basic courtesy.
*********
I think i am the embassador relaying ideas or voicing out whereby SHE is like the general, quiet yet discerning to all details, interpretating and plotting the next steps.
LOL
I like our combination.
