Eg. photos.
I like to develop photos instead of keeping as soft copies.
Friends, families or with my love.
I like to keep photos in albums so that I can always refer or flip through those moments whenever I feel nostalgic.
Its like a memory bank to me. In hard copy.
You might think that its a waste of money to develop photos out but I like to see it in REALITY.
I like to flip through photos, to feel it and to be able to personalise it.
Not just using adobe or whatnots but by doing an album for it, scrapbooking those memorable moments or just decorating the photos with stuff i've made.
This is MY way of remembering things.
I dont trust my memory.
I dont trust the virtual world.
I trust the cold hard "reality" of photos.
You might not agree with me.
But it doesnt mean that I need to agree with what you think is not right or not common.
Its good to remember things.
Like my mum, who has kept various albums chronicling our growing up phase.
I am grateful for that, to be able to see and remember what it has been like before.
So I want to keep MY memories for the future lest it got lost in the virtual world or corrupted, to be able to tell my kids what my dating life was like.
How I looked like when i was young, how my friends looked like.
Maybe just for myself to be able to see how i've changed over the years hahahhaha
:)
And to side track abit, I bought stickers to decorate my photos which i took when i went to the various places with my love.
I'm still a big kid at heart and I am proud of it.
I thrive on visual stimulation hahahahaha
You can have do whatever You want, the most important thing is to LIKE the way you do things and the end result of it all.
Money spent can be earned back, memories lost cannot be found again.
*smile*
