morning ramblings part 2

a fren told me this line

"love the person for being who he/she is
not how he/she can do for you"

was talkin to a colleague
she's kinda worried about the future if she's to study as this will create an educational difference between herself and her bf which will translate into different in earnin power next time

she sounds ambitious and expects the guy to be ABOVE
in terms of financial stability and earnin power

its true and its common knowledge and its expected by alot of women

BUT WHAT IF THAT SCENARIOR CANNOT BE ACHIEVED?

do you drop that person and find someone better?

its up to individuals already .. and how they are to cope
and i applaud my colleague for plannin so far ahead..
heh
they already laid out the various possibilities and the diff solutions to possible hiccups

being greedy is good in this sense
to be able to tackle
studies, relationship and finance matters
and wantin the best of everything

i think i am still laggin very far behind.. mentality-wise

i say i do not mind difference in educational qualifications..
yet the future is uncertain
i might say otherwise in the future

i do not want to think too far into the future
i rather cherish the present
and work problems out WHEN i DO encounter them..

if not
i have too many IFS to handle already

HOWEVER..
its always better to plan ahead.. IN CASE I AM RENDERED HELPLESS when i do face such problems in life later

to me
even if its my bf
he cannot stop me from achievin what i want
even it meant he cannot be on par..
he will have to catch up then..
or i will make him catch up

u will have to set your own priorities

as the sayin goes

you cannot survive on love alone
you still need to put bread on the table
and its always good to have someone to share the financial burden with
and NOT BE the financial burden
