PROPOSAL POST

On this day, our 93th mth anniversary
7 years and 9 months of being together, dear finally popped the question.

Though we are considered "老夫老妻" in alot of people's eyes, our journey was not easy.
We went through various obstacles, stages in life.
ALot of things did not happen as "default"
We had good times and bad times
Times we questioned ourselves
Times we had to brace ourselves for each other's absence
Times we had to compromise, to accomodate each other's schedules, habits
Times we had to overcome alot of naysayers
Times we had lots of fun and laughter
Times we felt proud of the other
Times we felt sad for the other
Time we explored new things together
Times we do things together
Times we travelled together
Times spent together
With lots of efforts, communication on BOTH sides, we emerged.

I believed in "giving as good as I get"
Dear knows. And he is trying to give me the best he could.
The pace at which he is trying to accomplish for us now, brings tears to my eyes often.

But I am glad, we have made it through this far
I believed, we can make it through future stages in life.

Dear gotten me flowers!! 108 !

WHY?
108 Roses = Please marry me!

We had picnic by the beach, cooling wind, away from crowd, peaceful, simple cooked food

Had grilled salmon with herbs, butter prawns, salad and Ice wine.

JUST THE TWO OF US.

no need for fancy dinner, fancy proposal

I like the way you are.
Especially the shy way that you asked me.













As cheesy as I may sound
I love you, then, now and future.
