so then I am proud to say, I fulfilled my resolutions for 2010!
I've graduated, gotten better grades for this year
less quarrels with dear? lol
saved more
more meetups with friends, recently the JC gals~! (but too long never meetup, kinda alienated still, must keep up)
more loving family (but we are always loving anyways :P, maybe pamper mum more so she will nag me less)

and so that means NEW Resoltions for 2011!

Get a BIGGER promotion OR get a new job already (must start looking UPwards/OUTwards)

Start planning for US

Spend more time with my family especially grandpa.. who's almost 90 already

Spend more time with friends especially after SY's wedding, gotten to be closer to some of the gals

Make more new friends

Save more~ (which has been a yearly ritual lol)

Initial plan was thwarted.. time for Plan B but it will still be away from the maddening crowd.
No more camping but we're going light fishing LOL

Dinner then countdown at East Coast.

Cant wait for New Year's Day gathering!
There's like 8 of us for movie, 10 for dinner!

Cleared my study desk and computer desk last night, satisfyin lol.

Christmas'10 weekends~

Before I forget what I did over the weekends, I better pen it down while it's still fresh lol

Friday 24th Dec

We had gift exhange in the office and pizza too~
I received a Starbucks gift card as a prezzie lol
she knows my coffee addiction well

Went over to dear's place after lunch, it was half day at work!
I gave dear his present :D
Dear loves it! I am so glad I chose the right one

We had our very own mini bbq at his place with some friends over~
Ate and played board games with wine and logcake from friends~

I managed to stay awake till 5am ah lol and we headed over to macdonald for breakfast before the rest went back home. Dear and I also went back to sleep and woke up for lunch the next day lol

Sat 25th Dec

Dear treated me to lunch at Alexandra~ We had "tze cha" and he fetched me back home after that. In the late afternoon, my whole family prepared for cousin's wedding dinner! Took express bus all the way to RitZ Carlton before walking over. It was downpour at my side when we boarded the bus but luckily it came to a drizzle when we alighted.
He's the first at my mum side to get married~
Everyone was so excited, including my mum lol who couldnt stop laughin and playin with the kids and talkin to all the other relatives~

Dinner's at the SPORE FLYER, MEGU event hall, nice deco and good food, fushion of western and malay elements~

Took the express bus back home and reached home after midnight.

Sun 26th Dec

Met dear at Bugis in the afternoon after I had breakfast with my family in the morning.
Went Sim Lim to check out his marine equipment before we had lunch near the "guan yin" temple~ Had roast pork and sausage~

Watched movie, Meet the fockers~

At night we had steamboat :P

27th Dec

Went Bugis for breakfast and we had Katong laksa and Otah.
Dear brought me to NEX at Serangoon!
It was huge! I love the place~ and its varieties especially the food lol
There's a wide range of shops, there's even Courts, Isetan and a cinema.
I bought a bag organiser and we had BROASTER chicken for lunch~
Dear had TURKEY drumstick LOL I had the chicken meal and there's more than 5 different sauces for dippin~ and the coleslaw and mashed potatoes seemed nicer than KFC
We bought muffins for snoopi too~

Went back dear's place, went out again at night to SUNTEC.
Had dinner at the SOuperlicious. Ate too much meat these few days so decided to go easy on the dinner. Went Carrefour shopping and bought some pastry and sushi back for my family

Took express bus back my place with dear~
and we even played Monopoly Deal with my sisters~

Super packed weekends~ I like it

Now it's recuperation after work this week to gear myself for New Year's Weekends!
There's camping, movie date, tracking and steamboat lol
I can't wait :)))

IT'S THE EVE

OF CHRISTMAS~

Feelin the festive mood already~~
For this year, feelin extra christmasy~lol
wrapped almost 17 presents and two angpows for my parents
and also 10 christmas tags LOL
for friends I'll be meeting and also met for this week

For others that I did not give present to, I'll make it up next year during one of the festive season again~

The joy of seeing the look of joy on the receivers' faces= PRICELESS
hope they like the little gesture of thanks

BIrthday BBQ

of dear's classmate which was held at her condo in the North.. last night

it was pretty fun, lots of "serious talk" about all the job search for them..
like how many resumes and interviews they went etc..

I remembered for me, after my poly, it took me almost 4 months to land a permanent job with 2 temp jobs of a mth each during that interval..it was such a chore to apply for jobs

she had a parrot and an arowana and ranchu~ lol i love her fishes.. so majestic looking
cake-cutting was almost near midmight -_-
and she's 22! so young lol, great to be young, more time to enjoy and plan :)
The guys even made fun of her bf saying he can just give a BIG present for the birthday girl as birthday gift+christmas+anniversary lol , it's their 1-yr anniversary I heard..

hmm.. our 1-yr anniversary.. I couldnt remember what we did already.
anyway .. dating for so long already lol, alot of "been there done that"
that is not a good mentality I know ><

nonetheless, still happy for the birthday gal and her bf

and I reached home and slept at 1am last night

Time flew~ I have seen her from dating to attending her wedding to her pregnancy and next year, her delivery which will be due in April'11..

Met my poly friends at Tampopo at Takashimaya for dinner. Walked around Orchard to take photos before heading to east coast coffeebean to chill~ went back dear's place around 2am




18th Dec 2010

Morning went Beach road for bak kut teh~ went shopping for dear's fishing stuff and i bought dear a Fishing Life Vest as Christmas present LOL a practical gift
My gift will keep dear safe :D
In the afternoon, we slept most of the time lol till it was time to go for another ex colleague's wedding at Swisshotel Merchant Court!

The bride was gorgeous! and a good sport, lively atmosphere and interesting march-in with bubble guns~
dear fetched me back his place after dinner again :)

19th Dec 2010

We had breakfast with dear's family before we headed back my place.
Took Snoopi out for a walk at Jurong Lake in the late afternoon.
Dear and I prepared two-person steamboat at night while my parents went for their potluck instead with their friends and brought along snoopi too

Had a simple but satisfying meal~
Dear then went home later at night
