Dear's out of Reservist and FENG SHUI INN @RWS

Friday 8th Jul

took mrt down to meet friends at Bedok and we chatted over dinner at a galfren's place and the sweet hubby of my friend sent me back to the west lol

Sat 9th Jul

Packed the house, did laundry and bathed the dog lol
while waiting for dear to book out.
Dear booked out around 3+ and he came to pick me before going back his place

Treated dear to steamboat dinner to replenish LOL

and it was icecream night watching "HURT LOCKER" DVD before dear dozed off lol

Sun 10th Jul

Went for DIM SUM Brunch at FENG SHUI INN @ RWS CROCKFORDS TOWER
OOH~~
First time at CROCKFORDS TOWER though i've been to the other hotels in RWS previously

Michelin Star chef's in town so they went to try his culinary skills~
and thanks to them, i have the opportunity to try exquisitive dim sum~ with extaordinary ingredients :D

this is the most interesting of them all
the bird's nest that was so thick and chewy, on top of chicken fillings
first time eating bird's nest in this state, the closest i got was when mum let me try her bottled bird's nest that i bought for her
I never had the habit to eat such fancy food hahah

and this also marks the 2nd mth we are engaged ~~

Visiting Grandpa, Crabbing, Birthday celebration

Sat 2nd Jul

Dear drove back to my place and picked mum and sis for lunch before we went to visit grandpa..

stayed till around 3+ before dear sent them back and we went back dear's place again.

Had Burger King at IMM and bought some bait while on the way~

We went crabbing!!

At EAST COAST.

AND we saw BMT guys having their POP ROUTE MARCH

dear said last time he had his route march at Tekong..

TEkong days..

hmm i remembered i used to pick dear and sent dear to PASIR RIS interchange to book into TEKONG almost EVERY WEEK.

hahaha

at the end of the night, we caught a mini female mud crab

guessed we went at the wrong time

i love dear for his initiative to find things to do together heh

Celebrated dear's mother birthday at Serangoon Garden!

My first time at Serangoon Garden~

At POW SING restaurant before we went back my place

Dinner was with my family at the hawker outside before we went to catch our movie.

Dear had to book in for ICT from monday onwards zzz

BUT dear managed to book tickets for us on Sunday night!!

TRANSFORMERS! Damn worth it, though it was a late night show as all other time slots were sold out or left front rows~!

Sukiya japanese buffet at Marina Squre, the meat was thinly sliced, damn good for shabu shabu lol and lean too
interesting soup base, with kimchi, spicy miso, in addition to sukiyaki and shabushabu

Haven drink for quite awhile
had a beer and a pint

Climbed up to Mt Sophia, behind THE CATHAY for TIMBRE

and as usual, i felt the odd one out as everyone else's in banking while i'm in a different industry
hmm the different expectations that they have, so different from the people i am usually in contact with

workin till 7 is the norm for them
not married even when they are 30 is the norm
aiming for a 5rm or condo is the norm
aiming for a car seems the norm
having a tiffany ring seems like a "right"

guess different people have different expectations

your environment will influence your expectations

just as long as they are happy, it doesnt matter to me

just as long as we are happy, can manage ourselves

that is all matters to me.

and as usual

people will ask about my ring

cause i wear everyday

i am proud of it

not cause it costed a great deal, of a certain brand, of a certain size

but it shows dear's determination

especially when he just started working

that is all matters.

JUST when I am leaving

I saw the Job Position for the one I am leaving behind at my current company..

it seemed that they have upgraded it to ASSISTANT MANAGER level
WOH. I never knew my position is worth that level
AND I am still at EXECUTIVE level.

but again
I am switching field.
I WILL NOT LOOK BACK AND REGRET.
