soothes the tired mind.

Dear and I camped out in the library on thursday and friday.. from 9+am till 8+ pm on average?
Dear brought me to eat steamboat on wednesday, old airport food centre on thursday so I treated him Cafe Cartel on friday :)

And of course, good company makes studying bearable. Went for lunch together in school and we reminisce our dating days back in school.

Dear went back today after breakfast and it will be "chionging intensive" for us for our first paper next week.

My Current Obessesion

I am usually NOT A FAN of dramas..especially taiwanese dramas..
BUT I couldnt resist this. Its different from the usual cinderella stories.. poor girl meets rich man in most taiwanese drama so fairytale..

At least this is more realistic.. I think.
About a career centered older woman and a younger man who dropped out of med school halfway
and the younger man trying to match the career woman at the end
and they, having to bypass various obstacles to be together.

Hunger pangs

Studying makes me hungry..

usually i avoid eating snacks in between meals.. but studying makes me succumb to my hunger pangs.. so.. i got these, after buying one from the vending machine at my workplace



and mum bought these "mini pears" recently~ so sweet!

Korean weekends

Went CHinatown last Saturaday with mum, she wanted to pay the balance for her Taiwan Trip but the tour agency said it was still early sigh and I tried to postpone the BKK trip and they also said it's still early too and we had to wait for further instructions from the airlines.

Brought Mum to eat TOGI, a korean restaurant :) she likes the rice but not the pancake.. I ordered wrongly zzz
Dear joined us halfway through the lunch.

Went OG after that to buy his dad some gifts and I managed to get two poloshirts from Goldlion for him.

Mum and I separated after that and Dear and I made our way back his place.

For his dad's birthday, we had Korean BBQ! LOL

something totally random.. a colleague was saying her friend got a job offer WHICH pays 2K for an entry diploma holder with a few years experience, however the peeve was NO CPF.

She was so pissed off as she mentioned how important CPF is towards housing issues.. no CPF, no house.

SO...I did a little poll just for interest.



while at the issue of housing, how much CPF do you want to have BEFORE you get your house? Combined CPF.

Blood Pressure

Mum bought a blood pressure monitor recently and she has been monitoring hers frequently.
We all took turns to take our blood pressure too and mine was the lowest at 90/70? -_-

mum started her "nagging" of "you not eating" etc etc
when i did.
albeit infrequent and irregular times..
how to eat when my work's packed back to back and i had to finish my lunch in 15min? -_-

oh well.
hope the situation improves soon... and i can go for my exam leave.

maybe its the late nights..
daily schedule goes like ..eat at 7, revise at 8+ till 11+ then off to bed..
no time to revise at work too.. not that i am supposed to.
Went to work and everyone commented I looked so pale, even my boss.
but its heartening to know that people care :)

Dad's 52th birthday weekend

Friday 9th April

Went over to find dear.. and we mugged together.

Sat 10th April

MUGGED WHOLE DAY. brain cells died alot.
we stopped just for meals. and our meal time super not stable lol
breakfast at 11, lunch at 4, dinner at 10 -_-
finally KOed around 1am

Sun 11th April

went Breakfast with his family before we head home and celebrated dad's birthday with steamboat dinner.

Dad's 52th birthday

we had a simple steamboat dinner today
and this was our gift for dad, from Seiko :)
Glad that dad loves it.
Dear also gotten really nice chocolate truffle cake too lol. :P

Silly me

transferred too much money out to my "hidden account" and now left with 20 bucks to survive till pay day which is next thursday? -_-

I always leave just enough in my "default account" lest I spent too much.
I forgot I had to pay the balance for the BKK trip LOL.
But well.. it means my "hidden account" is unaffected hahaha.

And when I thought my jeans are losing its elasticity again.. I measured my hips.. and I shed another inch again zzz now like 32" ? Mum is so gonna start nagging me.

Spent Good Friday at home to revise, dear came over to study together and he surprised me with a sunflower LOL.

He went back later at night.

Sat, went school for test in the afternoon before meeting sharon at CityHall and MS. Went shopping and i realised i am super GIAM in shopping now.. a blouse cost 50? dress 90? tsk tsk
Bought nothing but we went Changing Appetites for mudpie.
Dear came over after his outing with his friends to find me.

Sun, this morning, dear and i helped mum to cook 6 dishes for Qing Ming in under 2 hrs! a feat!
We had hakka yong tau hu, cabbage soup, curry vegetable, stewed pork, sweet and sour prawns and roast chicken.
In the midst of preparing, I forgot to take pics -_-
We can cook de hor ok? :P
