Eventful weekends

Dear came to fetch me last friday and we went VIVO for movie, "GREEN ZONE". We had late supper after the movie at Lavender FOod Centre before going back home.

SAT, I BOUGHT NEW CAMERA LOL.

Sat night, met SY and Sharon and other gals at night to discuss about SY's wedding gatecrash! LOL so exciting! had dinner at NYDC~ SY was so nice to treat all 6 of us :)

Dear then fetch me back.

Today, had breakfast with dear and his family at Tanjor pagar before the two of us took MRT back to my place.

Finally

I have my very own camera!! Decided against getting a DSLR cause in the end, i know i wont bring such bulky camera out.

Dear accompanied me to buy from the IT fair at SUNTEC, abit painful on my wallet but fiddling with the functions and that compact body made it all worthwhile!

Costed me almost $800 for this new toy -_-

My temper aint good when my assignment datelines are near
and my work aint helping either.. packed schedules and whatnots
tsk tsk

and it took me around 3 weeks to do my HR individual report.
FINALLY! its all done, all 42 pages of it.

Shall take a breather this weekends before I embark on the last assignment of the sem, plus another test then its onto EXAMS.

I grumble alot, but that's the way I relieve stress.

Respite from the heat

Dear fetched me home last thursday after school and also on Friday after my work. We had dinner at Sunset Way on friday night before making our way back his place.

Sat was so hot!! We had a much needed respite away from the heat.. by going to East Coast.. though it was sunny, the seabreeze was a such a relief.

We did some light fishing before heading back to pack and then we went to a new dinner place at Marina Bay Golf Course.
Spectacular view.. and cooling too.

Dear fetched me back today and I tried doing work again... but the heat gave me headache... zzz
Brought snoopi out for a walk with mum in the evening..and again, the breeze outside was so much better..maybe it's just the ventilation in my house.. trapping all the heat within the walls.

Now back to finishing the essay.

Last day of CNY

today 28th feb and we had 汤圆 and dinner at 店小二

This marks 元 宵 or "Chinese Valentine" but dear wasnt here.. he had dinner with his own family. Anyway, we had a great meal with the whole family plus sis's bf and our cousin. :)

Today was abit more productive, managed to read more journals, went marketing and even bathed snoopi..

I said to snoopi, "follow me", "sleep on cushion" when I went to take nap
he actually KNOWS :D so proud of my baby

oh and its time to pay income tax..zzz though not "that much" still heartpain

Last few days

of CNY.

Last friday, I went over to Jurong Point with the colleagues to buy vouchers for a colleague who's giving birth soon. We also "dragged" a colleague to look at rings LOL..
Gotta let the man have a gauge of what to buy hahaha no excuse for not getting ><

After that went school with the gals and I waited for dear to finish his test around 8+
Dear and I then went to have fishhead steamboat at Jurong East before heading back to my place.

Sat morning, dear went IPPT and I went marketing with mum.. dear came back around noon but it was so warm so we spent the day lazing and napping.. it's almost impossible to read too.
We brought Snoopi to Jurong Lake for a walk around 5pm when it was much cooler.

Dear and I then came back and brought my parents out for dinner at West COast Plaza.
We treated both of them to dinner at New York New York :)
The meat platter is really worthy lol, though menu wrote for 2.. its suitable for 3 at least LOL.
We had overload of meat ah hahahah

all the gals who's with me through my ups and downs, sittin in the same office.. 5 yrs together.. even at my lowest time of life at work..
and now I stand alone.
Luckily I have new colleagues who are nice too :)
I must put in more effort to know them better.

we had a staff lunch on thursday organised by the Chairperson personally

and congrats to a friend and a colleague for getting really good queue numbers for their flats.. which means high chances of actually getting a unit :)
one had no. 70+ out of 100+ units
one had no. 100+ out of 1000+ units

though they mentioned it werent their choice location BUT its still acceptable and they're still happy with the outcome.
IF NOT, it will be getting too expensive and waiting time too long to bear

next time if I do get mine, I have alot of "shifu" to ask already :P

the feeling of being burnt out is creepin in..
I know there's others out there who worked harder than me

but still..
I feel my stamina slowly seepin away from me..

No matter how I may grumble.. I still have to bear with it till year end THEN I think of what to do.

A friend said, its a matter of choice.

人日 Lo hei

Dear came over on friday and left this afternoon for home while mum and I took bus back ourselves.
I Enjoyed his company immensely :)

We had steamboat yesterday for 人日 celebration and lo hei again too! LOL
so it makes 5th steamboat and 4th lo hei for us hahahha

And I am grateful that I have the chance to eat abalone again hee
thanks to more contribution from sis's bf and my uncle.
And Mum cooked shark's fin! yum! Been a few years since we had it.

Dear brought his Texas chips over too and it was mahjong first then Texas.I lost 20 at mahjong zzz but never mind, all for fun. CNY's the only time I play mahjong. And we played till 1am? I couldnt keep my eyes open and went bed at around 2am while the rest played till 5 am..
Sis's bf bought Wii for her and we had the chance to play at home now hahaha

Today we went Suntec to look at the travel fair and Mum booked tickets to Taiwan with the youngest sister.
AND AND
Dear and I booked ourselves to Bangkok for his birthday celebration!
Cant wait! :P

hmm that is great! It means that I am in the right course :)

I know its all made in jest, out of fun.
I am not enjoying it, but I tried my best to smile and reply.

Recently a married friend of mine was telling me all the disadvantages of being married versus dating
all the flaws u think you can accept during dating are all amplified when married
dating probs is nothing compared to marriage probs
probs can be from everywhere anywhere

so her advice, be VERY VERY SURE, and dont attempt to change someone or dont expect someone will change for you.

In short, Don't marry for the sake of it, not even for the house.
