Dear's Birthday and Mother's Day (updated)

Had Bar CHar mee with his family in the morning at Changi first. Then rest of the day was spent drawing out plans and going to the supermarket to buy ingredients for the chalet and back to his place to prepare stuff. Dear was being as "efficient as possible" lol. After that he went to meet his friends in the evening for dinner. Dear fetched me to the mrt station and I went to find mum and sis at Far East who were shopping there. hmm nothing interests me over there.. the clothes are all so cutesy and small lar zzz

After Far East shopping, brought them to Raffles Shoppin Centre to buy the fish shaped waffles then went over to Gelare to treat them icecream :)
one waffle with 3 scoops of ice-cream.. one scoop for each person lol

We then took express bus back home.

For breakfast at Changi, it was showcased in a tv variety


the noodles very Q, thinner than usual mee pok and there's lots of sauce
I like the mushrooms in it~

the soup is really good! not your usual plain fishball soup with lots of pepper.. they use "kee poh" to stew

Day of dear's chalet! I went over to dear's place around 11am to help prepare and skewer stuff and then after that were a frenzy of activities..Went to pick the satay and otah, went to buy ice and went to pick the cake from Awfully Chocolate before proceeding to the chalet for check-in.

Before I reached dear's place, I gotten two bouquets of flowers too for Mother's Day. For my family this year, dad chose a wallet and bag for mum and we all shared the present hahah..mum was smiling while saying why waste so much money... :P

Sharon was the first. Mum and sisters were next.. then his friends came in batches
hmm.. I love bbqing.. I prefer to bbq for people. :P quite fun actually..
Candy and Jeff came later and another 2 of his army mates came much later.

And we had like lots of photo taking and also my polaroid and then it was the cake. Luckily they like the cake I chose. Chocolate fudge with rum and cherry.

His family and my family went off first then Jeff and candy leaving the guys with us.
I think we overdid it on the food.. But I managed to bbq everything and the guys managed to finish it hahah what a feat. dont waste food mah.. better to keep cooked food then raw ones.

And dear was being tackled by the guys.
after dear was helped upstairs by the guys, they also helped me to pack the place.. thanks to them again.

well.. the chalet was worth all the time and effort that we spent preparing. :)

this morning's view from the breakfast place at the chalet..

Went back to dear's place in the morning after check-out to bath and sleep..
and for dinner just now, we explored new place for steamboat.
LELE HOTPOT at TIONG BAHRU.. budget price, clean and cosy... and there were like at least 6 different types of soup with various steamboat items including cooked ones.. all for less than $20/pax!
highly recommend for a fuss-free steamboat..
Dear then sent me back after dinner.

Tml's the last day of my paper.. hanging in there.. trying not to be TOO overwhelm by the prospects of the upcoming/to be planned activities..

Exams are over!! I can finally breathe easy~

Had lunch with classmates at bukit timah and we splitted after that. I went IMM Daiso to browse little accessories and such, bought some scrapbooking and nail stuff and also some stationery....its such a knick-knack heaven to me.. I had to try very hard to control myself in there..lol
I also stocked up on polaroid film like finally.. when I realised someone is spreeing for it when I checked just now.. shucks.
Its so much cheaper ..with so many cute designs!

Korean Dinner

Last night I went to Chinatown Point to wait for dear and we went to TOGI, a Korean Restaurant~

Finally, can let dear try the korean food there cause I went there once with my classmates and found it good.. and dear loves it lol and its a surprise cause he isnt a Korean food fan but he gave this restaurant the thumbs up!

There were like 5-6 appetizers woh... and we ordered a hotpot.. luckily it's just one hotpot and nothing else cause we just only managed to finish.. so filling ah.

Dear then came back with me.

Then this morning, we went TIong Bahru Market with mum for breakfast and had their famous chwee kuey and the chicken claw noodles and Wanton mee.. and there were already 10+ ppl in the queue?

Dear then sent us back before he went home..

MayDay weekends

Met my secondary schoolmates for lunch at MOF at Suntec.
Heard them talk about current affairs and the "Star Search awards" sad to say.. I aint really a fan of local dramas.

So now ... two of them will be in the teaching line and one in HR.. I am working towards my aim of working in HR too.. but for now.. exams.
After lunch, everyone had their own programs so we went our ways after that.

I went over to Raffles City Shopping Centre to buy some stuff for dear and to try out the new Japanese waffle that was advertised in the Straits Times some time back. Interesting flavours woh.. there's durian, red bean, chocolate etc and even savoury items such as otah, ham n cheese etc.

Dear came to pick me after that. And we had steamboat dinner at Tianfu. Again. LOL. He loves it too much.

After dinner, we went back home to take his fishing gear to do some light fishing.. AND dear caught sotong! lol first time on shore for him.
We went back to grill it and it really tasted different.

Dear sent me back home in the morning then he went to meet his friends after their exams for another fishing session offshore.
And I mug till late evening when dear suddenly called to say he caught some fishes for my family. hee
ANd dear came to my place again for the night.He descaled and degilled the fish for mum too.
