Gastronomical weekend!

My family celebrated Father's day on Saturday while dear's family celebrated Father's day today.

My sisters and I treated the dear dad to dinner at Chin Huat Restaurant at Sunset Way.
Even the xiaomei contributed haha that's nice of her and mum invited dear to our little celebration too.

Dear stayed over and this morning we went to the market near lakeside to have breakfast, it was the last day of operation before the market is due for a major overhaul.

I will definitely miss the food over there as some stalls might not shift over to the temporary market.

At home, we decided to let the pig roam freely in the house and make friends with snoopi lol

Then in the afternoon, dear and i went Prawning! We had checked out the lakeside fishing pond near chinese garden on Thursday and decided to give it a try today lol
Even dear who is so into fishing hasnt been to a prawn pond before. The feeling of prawnin was so different due to the lightness of rod and the weight of the catch but nonetheless, we managed to get the hang of it and soon we caught 17 prawns lol which we steamed when we went back to dear's place.

For Dear's Father's Day celebration, his sister drove us to Ban Leong Wah Hoe near Thomson. The name of the place is too long so I shall stick to "Ban Leong" instead.
The queue was horrendorous! There were scores of people waiting around tables even though the whole place was fully occupied and only around 6pm but we managed to get our seats around 15mins of waiting.
And dear's family sent me back after that, really grateful and thankful for the ride home.

Must always 饮水思源 and 感恩.

In conclusion : Good food + family = 人间享受 + 促进感情

On another note, I told dear that one of his buddies has gotten himself a new gf and she looks gorgeous,looks and figure wise.
I told dear I envy her complexion and wanna get myself new skincare.
He rejected me flatly.
Reasons cited, "waste of money" and "i like original"
I am touched.

ok.. maybe just a few new items from this new skincare brand that i am eyeing .. :)
at least still need to maintain :P

and i am so very tempted to get more clothes for Snoopi (the bf's gonna nag ><)

Mum gave me the stroller idea as she was complaining Snoopi's getting too heavy and strenous to carry around, which he does love us to do. He's such a softie sometimes, whining and trying to jump on you then when you carry him, he will go quiet and lie on your shoulder.
The stroller idea will be abandoned in the end i guess, cause thinking of it, all the more he's suppose to exercise to lose the flab.

Still waiting for the day when dad can drive the whole family to the beach again.. taxi ride's such a killer.. maybe .. i might just get a licence and a car to fetch Snoopi around.. maybe hahaha

Snoopi's having some little red bumps on him which worries me, might try out the "prickly heat" else have to wait for the vet visit next week to see his diagnosis and also to microchip him.
He had "dandruff" too which is due to his dry skin and after conditioning last night, he seems much better.*whew*
Need to get his coat supplements soon oh and i started brushing his teeth lol after countless attempts by him to swallow the toothpaste.

dear's guy friend is recently looking for a gf and some of his main criterias were "can plan ahead ie plan for THEIR future( with the capabilities too)and has comparable qualifications ie similar to his (diploma or above)"

wow.

those in a relationship, ever wondered or asked what were the criterias that your bf had in mind for when looking for a life-long mate... and after getting together, does he hold any expectations of you?

we often hear about gals and what they want in a guy, how about the other way round?

sometimes i think i plan too far ahead and the bf seems to be more focus on the present... different mindsets i guess.. i have been living my current lifestyle for years..time for a change.. and now i will not have to wait much longer.
dear always say i think too much, too complicated and too "ambitious" or greedy.
maybe we just have different yardsticks for measurement..but as long as we have the same "destination" and aims in the end, i guess the process of getting there doesnt matter as much.. i think.

thanks for everything, though i had been cranky and bad tempered lately.. paranoid i guess.. but i am so glad its over.. and thanks for being patient with me.

we went fishing! at bedok jetty from yesterday 4pm till this mornin 10am .. KOed.. we cycled to and fro from his place with all the fishin gear and icebox and mat for around half hr .. weavin thru the human traffic.. as ECP has some marathon today..


Anyway .. though we did not have much catch..iI enjoyed the bf's company. OH! i think dear's having some affinity with puffy fishes lol he caught 3 more today and other "abnormalies" a baby shark and an eel lol

We reached back his place around 11am and slept till 3pm and I rushed back home to have dinner with my parents.

and he was late from the groomer.. made me worried for awhile... supposed to be back at 530 but came back around 730 only after i made 2 calls to the grooming studio and 4 calls by his "gong gong" to ask "is he back yet?" to me.
