Credit Card woes

For some time, I was nudging the bf to allow me to get a credit card..
now that he has agreed to let me apply for my own.. i read up on the perks and such and the conditions.. then in the end, i think i wont apply.

maybe next time when i DO need it for big ticket purchases such as furniture or wedding then i get it.
cause the perks are mainly restaurants, those courts megastores and branded boutiques, it's not that i even frequent those places..and there's yearly subscription fees and minimum amount charged to card..

i know i am contradictory.. but hey, it means i can afford any of my purchases NOW, not on credit terms. :P

in the end, i think the reason why i want a credit card is just to boost my ego.
And there's no need to prove to anyone.

Can afford a credit card doesnt mean i must get one.
Does not have a credit card doesnt mean i cannot afford one.

hahaha.

A new beginning

was busy and packed during the weekend.

busy with project and buying of furniture with dear's family.
and also cleaning dear's new room with him
and officially shifted to the new room on sat!

very cosy place now..slowly, filling it with more items.

dear bought a new warbrobe and working table this week!

Reflecting

I read this somewhere..

Deciding

between to repair my desktop, buy new laptop or do both.

Went to look around for new laptop on Sun at Sim Lim.. hmm it's getting fancier LOL I am super outdated..the last I remembered, the processor at that time was Intel® Core™2 Quad processor.. now?

Thinking of a lightweight, 14inch, laptop for everyday office applications and surfing net... AND,I realise even though weight difference might be just a few hundred gm, the price differs by a few hundreds..

HMM....

Laptop for myself so I can do projects and bring to dear's place cause he has only one desktop in his room.
Desktop for my mum at home to watch her shows and the older laptop can be for the youngest sis for her assignments..

Did nothing at night after work LOL

Sat 17th Jul

DOWNPOUR AT 5am in the morning.. woke up to snoopi's whimpering sounds.
Saw dad in the living room with snoopi, quickly carried snoopi from dad. Poor darling scared of thunder and dad had to pacify him..
Dad went work at 6+am while I carried snoopi into my bedroom but the scary boy refused to sleep and sat beside my pillow -_-

Woke up again at 8am and went breakfast and marketing with mum.
After that, took mrt down to EUNOS to meet dear and his sis as we're going IKEA.
Dear bought curtains for his new room!

lugged it back dear's place and rested away before we went SELETAR AIRBASE at night. GOSH, "holland" alot of times ah..it was so ulu and with minimum instructions to get there.

Tried SUNSET GRILL and challenged ourselves! Had level 6 buffalo wings! We ALL SURVIVED LOL. SHall challenge level 10 next time hahahah

It was then to Jalan Kayu for Selegie beancurb to cool down lol

Sun 18th Jul

Helped in alittle packing at dear's place before we went to my malay colleague's wedding. It was a grand affair~
She wore gold dress, look so prosperous :)
dear accompanied me there too

Went SIM LIM after that to get his cable, before that, happened to pass by a NOVENA furniture and dear bought a new sofa~ a 3 seater L-shaped sofa heh

DInner was at PS.
FOr sunday, we basically took almost all THE MAIN MRT LINES hahahha
From Circle line to NS line to NEL line
On way back from PS, we decided to take Express bus home, slept throughout :X
both of us were too tired

Movie Date

with dear bf :D yesterday

Used my popcorn card to book tickets to PREDATORS! At Jurong Point, it cost $6.50 only heh
Met dear, collected tickets and had dinner at the foodcourt opposite. Went Watson after dinner and went for the show..luckily I booked tickets already, the cinema was fully packed!

simple date night, but loving as always.

Dear bf had to wait a few hrs after school for me yesterday and also wait a few hrs for his school today cause I had to go work, his class was in the afternoon. Appreciate the effort :)

Brownie points

for my workplace.
The workplace has a list of courses for staff to attend, from IT to Personal development to Communications courses etc for our upgrading. The workplace also linked up with external providers for some of the courses.

So the "greedy" me has my sights set on a few courses. Hopefully, I am able to take with my colleague.

Sat 10th Jul

Bathed and groomed snoopi, finally packed my table
Went class in the afternoon from 330-630, took bus down to wheelock to meet the gals after class.
The gals accompanied me to buy present for dear's mum. It's her birthday on sun.
Sorry gals for being so fickle minded.
Bought her a phonestrap from Swarovski boutique from ION ORCHARD :D super bling, think she will like it. (forgot take a pic -_-)
Went Dempsey RED DOT BREWHOUSE for dinner, chilled and chatted till 12am+ before going back home
and guess what? we played bingo and our table won 2 $50 vouchers!!

Had breakfast outside with mum before we came back and I prepared to go out meet dear's family.
Took bus down to Millenia Walk to meet them.
Lunch was at Ma Maison for her birthday.

Walked around and shopped with them before heading back dear's place.

Dinner was chicken rice at KATONG SHOPPING CENTRE, a hidden gem.
Dear went to watch WC with his friends at one of their place late at night.
I went home myself..
